Contains the following types of materials: photographs, post cards. Covers the following time period: 1932-1938. Contains photographs of the following military units and organizations: Quartermaster Corps, United States (U.S.) Army; 57th Infantry Regiment. General description of the collection: The Arthur J. Lynch photograph collection covers a span of only seven years of the career of Colonel Lynch, that of his service in the Philippines. There are several portrait photos and family photos and six of Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Most of the remainder are of views of native and ethnic activities in the Philippines, as well as the effects of a typhoon on an American installation and the barracks of the 57th Infantry Regiment. There are photos of the Army-Navy Club in Manila and the Nicholas Field Polo Club. Among this collection also are a few photos dealing with the construction of the Panama Canal, several views on the island of Guam and two of Honolulu, Hawaii.
